A comprehensive, 2 part certificate training program including:

  • Four self-study learning modules that present:
  1. The role MTM will play in the future of pharmacy practice
  2. A plan for becoming a successful MTM practitioner
  3. The essential skills and knowledge necessary for delivering MTM services
  4. How to conduct an MTM encounter
  5. Practice interviews with patients
  • A 1-day training seminar that provides tools for:
  1. Communication with patients and other health care professionals
  2. Addressing medication issues with an emphasis on elderly patients
  3. Practice implementation, documentation, and billing
  4. Case-based problem solving
  5. Final patient case assessment
  6. Post-seminar patient cases
