Pharmacist

Great Land Infusion Pharmacy, a dynamic family-oriented pharmacy seeks a motivated pharmacist who wants a versatile job in a stimulating work environment.
Great Land Infusion Pharmacy is a locally-owned pharmacy open 9 - 5:30pm Monday through Friday with a rotating on-call schedule. We specialize in infusion and retail pharmacy, along with non-sterile compounding. We are a PCCA-affiliated pharmacy looking for a full-time staff pharmacist who will be involved in our retail pharmacy with non-sterile compounding duties and will be trained to provide back-up for our infusion services. We are willing to provide necessary training to perform the job duties.
We expect our pharmacists to:
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
- Provide exceptional patient care at all times
- Supervise CPhTs and pharmacy students
- Collaborate with nurses and other pharmacists to ensure clinical objectives are met
- Be active in committees and professional organizations
- Analyze and evaluate current medical literature
- Possess excellent decision-making skills and be able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Applicant must have an Alaska pharmacy license or be in the process of obtaining an Alaska pharmacy license.

Qualifications: Alaska License; Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or Pharm.D.) from a school or college of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). A Graduate Pharmacist must have documentation from a school of pharmacy accredited by ACPE, either in the form of a diploma or official correspondence stating that they have met all requirements for graduation. A Graduate Pharmacist must obtain an Alaska Pharmacist License within 180 days of initial employment. Must be certified, or eligible to be certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS); knowledge of office equipment (computers, multi-line telephone, fax machine, etc.) and willingness to learn or understanding of patient-oriented and management computer software systems needed.
